Arcade Games
Get in on the action without quarters or tokens!
Remember when you had to go down to the video arcade or the local pizza parlor if you wanted to indulge your video game addiction? If you're under 25, you may not, but people actually had to pay twenty five cents at a time to play simple arcade games like Asteroids, BattleZone, Centipede, Donkey Kong, and the immortal Pac-Man and Ms. Pacman.
Now, with the help of software or online Flash emulators, you can play the same games without spending your hard earned quarters, or changing your bills for tokens that were worthless outside the arcade.
If you're looking for Museum-Style video games for your console, we will soon have links to those as well. With the Namco Museum, Atari Flashback, and other popular game programs (or standalone systems) you are able to see the same graphics and play that cost a much larger percentage of your disposable income in the past. You can play Gauntlet without exhausting 2 weeks allowance to find out that there was no end to the levels. You can try and get PaperBoy to put all the papers on the doorsteps, but unfortunately you can't use the handlebars like the old game. You can even try some of the odd sequels like Galaga '88 and Millipede, which did not seem to have the luster of the originals.
